Edward L. Perkins,
BA, JD, LLM (Tax), CPA
Licensed in Pennsylvania

Mr. Perkins has been practicing as a transactional attorney for over twenty-five years. He is the author of three books Drafting Wills that Work in Pennsylvania, Special Needs Trusts in Pennsylvania, and the Pennsylvania Trust Handbook, as well as numerous CLE and CPE programs.
​
Mr. Perkins is a principal shareholder in the firm and also a member of the faculty of the Graduate Tax Program of the Villanova Law School. In that program he currently teaches “The Drafting Fundamentals of Estate Planning Documents” – a course that he developed for the program and which was required for all those seeking the Program’s Certificate in Estate Planning.

He is a frequent speaker for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the continuing education arm of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Mr. Perkins is aso the founder and president of YourOnlineProfessor.net, a Web-based provider of CPE credit for CPAs, and CLE for attorneys.

Martin J Pezzner, BS, JD, CPA

We are proud to welcome Martin J Pezzner to our experienced lineup of attorneys. He brings with him a wealth of experience as a practicing attorney for over twenty-nine years. After graduating Wilkes College with a Bachelor of Science in accounting, he was employed by the Internal Revenue Service in Philadelphia, PA as a Tax Revenue Agent (Field Agent) for five years. He also worked for one year in the Philadelphia IRS Appeals Office. While employed by the IRS, he became a CPA (1985) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Mr. Pezzner received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1989.

Mr. Pezzner is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Well-versed in all aspects of law, he is knowledgeable in the realms of Estate Administration, Estate Planning, Business Matters, and Tax Controversies.

He is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Probate and Trust Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar. He also maintains his CPA license.

Stephen Loester, BS, JD, LLM (Tax)
Licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey

Stephen Loester obtained a Juris Doctorate and an LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law. While at Villanova, Stephen served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Elizabeth T. Hey, United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He also represented clients in the Villanova Law Federal Tax Clinic, where he represented low-income taxpayers in controversies with the IRS, both before the IRS and in federal court. Stephen graduated from Fairfield University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management.

Stephen is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.
Walter J. Timby, III, BA, JD, LLM (Tax)
Licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey

Walter brings with him a wealth of experience: after receiving his Bachelor of Arts from Villanova University in 1973 and his Juris Doctorate from the Villanova University School of Law in 1976, Mr. Timby became a member of the Pennsylvania Bar. In 1989, he also became a member of the New Jersey Bar.
​
He is a member of the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, the Pennsylvania Defense Institute and the Defense Research Institute.
Mr. Timby is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Well-versed in all aspects of law, he is knowledgeable in the realms of litigation and taxation.

Mr. Timby provided representation in many areas of employment litigation, including with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Pennsylvania Human Rights Commission (PHRC), and the United States District Court. He also has much experience consulting with employees to avoid potential Employment litigation.
​
He has also successfully defended at trial issues related to claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, sexual discrimination, harassment, Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Fair Labor Standards (FLSA), Family Medical Leave (FMLA), and New Jersey’s Law Against Discrimination (LAD).

Mr. Timby has authored two treatises, The Employment Law Handbook and The Family Medical Leave Act: The Legislation and What The Future Holds.

Paul Fellman, BA, JD
Licensed in Pennsylvania

Paul is an associate in Gibson & Perkins’ Litigation Department where he represents clients in personal injury, legal malpractice, and general liability matters. The pride he takes in his work is reflected in the results he achieves for his clients.
In addition to his trial practice, Paul also has experience in the area of appellate practice. Paul has argued cases before Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court, Superior Court, and Commonwealth Court. While attending law school, Paul served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Henry duPont Ridgely of the Delaware Supreme Court.
